Volunteering at Paññagiri
Like all monasteries of the Forest Sangha, Paññāgiri is maintained through the contributions and generosity of benefactors and practitioners. Many people offer their time and skills, either by visiting occasionally or helping from home, dedicating their time and skills to tasks such as:
- Providing transportation for the sangha
- Simultaneous translation into Spanish or Catalan of talks given at Paññāgiri
- Transcribing and audio editing of Dhamma talks
- Computer tasks
Assisting with maintenance and gardening - General work and other activities
If you would like to offer your support in any of these areas, please contact the Theravada Forest Buddhist Community: theravadabosque@gmail.com
Long-term Volunteering
From time to time, vacancies arise for long-term lay residents, giving laypeople the opportunity to offer their skills for up to a year in a particular area, such as the kitchen or grounds. These positions will be announced in due course.
