By renouncing their lives as monks and nuns, members of the sangha relinquish control of everything except the simplest necessities of life. Donations of money and land offered to the sangha at Paññāgirī are administered by lay people through the Theravada Forest Buddhist Community (CBBT) association. This section of the website aims to help benefactors understand how to offer donations of money and skills to the community.
How you can contribute to Paññāgiri
All Forest Sangha monasteries are supported by voluntary offerings from benefactors and practitioners. Many people give their time and offer their skills, from driving to IT services and redecorating. If you would like to offer your support in any way, you can contact theravadabosque@gmail.com.
In addition, vacancies for long-term lay residents occasionally arise, giving them the opportunity to offer their skills for a year or more in a specific area, such as cooking or gardening. These opportunities will be announced in due course.
Donating food or offering a meal at Paññāgiri

Financial donations
Like all Theravada Buddhist communities, the Sangha at Paññāgirī relies on dana (voluntary offerings). As monks and nuns are not permitted to handle money, the Bosque Theravada Buddhist Community (CBBT) association acts as their administrator.
